1.2          Your privacy is important to us.  We are bound by the Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1993 (Privacy Act).  Where applicable we also comply with any obligations that we may have under other applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6.1          Data is securely processed and stored by servers which are based in Auckland New Zealand.

9.1.2        Right of Rectification – to request that we rectify your Personal Information if it is inaccurate or incomplete.  You can update certain information in the Your Account section of our website.

9.1.3        Right to Erasure – to request that we erase your Personal Information in certain circumstances:

(a)          It is no longer necessary for us to hold the Personal Information;

(b)          You withdraw consent and there is no other ground for the processing;

(c)           You object to the processing and there are no legitimate grounds for processing.

9.1.4        Right to Restrict – to request that we stop processing some of your Personal Information.

9.1.5        Right to Data Portability

9.1.6        Right to Object – to object to:

(a)          Our processing of your Personal Information where processing is based on our legitimate interests (unless there are legitimate grounds for us continuing to process your Personal Information);

(b)          Our use of your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes;

(c)           Our continued processing of your Personal Information where you withdraw your consent (where processing is only permitted because you initially consented to processing).

9.1.7        Right regarding Automated Individual Decision Making –  to not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or which significantly affects you.

9.2          We will respond to your requests relating to your rights within a reasonable time period.  Whilst we will respond to your requests we may not be required to comply with your requests where an exception or limitation applies under applicable law.

9.3.2        Complete an online form on our website

9.4          You can also cease the use of your Personal Information for marketing purposes by:

9.4.1        Using the unsubscribe feature in any message that we send to you;

9.4.2        Logging in to your account and updating the appropriate preferences (if available) for that account.

9.5          Where applicable you are also entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
